Bellevue Councilman Lee Seeks To Replace Rep. Dunn

Again, from the PI, an article so good we're quoting it in it's entirety.

City Councilman Conrad Lee (we couldn't find a campaign site), a twice-unsuccessful candidate for the Legislature, yesterday became the sixth person to announce a run for the 8th District congressional seat from which Rep. Jennifer Dunn is retiring.

The Chinese immigrant is the fourth Republican to enter the race in the GOP-leaning 8th, which covers suburban eastern King and Pierce counties. The others are King County Sheriff Dave Reichert, state Sen. Luke Esser and Diane Tebelius, a GOP national committeewoman and former federal prosecutor.

Two Democrats are running: Alex Alben, a former vice president of RealNetworks, and Heidi Behrens-Benedict, who lost three times to Dunn. Lee, 65, ran for the Legislature from the 41st District in 1996 and 2000 but lost both primaries. He resigned this week as regional administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The race for the Washington 8th is getting ever more interesting - talk about it in our forums!
